Mrs. Selway contacted us to discuss her need for a stylish, functional family kitchen with an integrated seating area, and how we could help her achieve the perfect design. Take a look below to learn how the partnership developed, and check out the stunning end result:
Mrs. Selway was searching for a modern, minimalist design that would enhance their family home. She had a need for good sight lines, a safe cooking space and an integrated family table - suitable for both dining and family activities with the kids.
She explored our Nobilia collection and chose the 'Slate Grey' door from the Touch range, combined with a 'Havana Oak' laminate worktops and accents. The style she chose was modern handleless, and with matt black selected as her grip rail colour we began the design process.
We normally need to create several alternatives throughout our design process before a final scheme is realised, and this project was no exception - we conducted several online consultation sessions with Mrs Selway to really help us gain a deeper insight into the unique requirements for her space.

Once the design was finalized, it was time to start production on Mrs. Selway's kitchen. We worked closely with the technical office in Germany to ensure every detail was flawlessly planned, in preparation for manufacturing in Nobilia's cutting-edge factory in Gütersloh.
After Mrs. Selway's kitchen was completed, the next step was to transport it to the site. Nobilia's dedicated fleet of trucks attentively transported her pre-assembled kitchen to our UK depot. From there, our friendly logistics team took over and delivered it to her home address on the date we'd agreed with Mrs. Selway some weeks earlier.
